Portfolio of work
Through this module, you will learn about my process of making different works, including my planning, shooting, and editing. I will also share here the inspiration I receive every time I finish my work. The digital media production course allowed me to experience what I most want to try. By planning and editing the material, I have a better understanding of the operation of the video, the shots, and the content.

Edit Project
This video is my first attempt at editing. We used the footage of the rock climber provided by the professor and edited a video at our own pace. This is very interesting, it is also my first attempt to write A/V script, and I also realized its importance in the process of video editing. I need to plan the pictures and background music that will appear in every second of the video. This feeling of watching a complete video work presented in my hands is amazing. Although I also need a lot of difficulties, for example, I am not familiar with editing videos using Adobe Premiere.

Video Project
This video is the first time I have recorded the footage myself, interviewed and used these materials to make a complete video. I finished shooting the entire footage when I went to Beijing Universal Studios with my friends. There were many things that conflicted with the A/V script I planned because the actual shooting is often not as simple as I imagined. And it rained that day, but there were a lot of people, and I didn't capture some of the scenes I imagined. But in the end, I barely finished the whole video because I shot enough videos. Compared with the previous work, I used the editing software more familiarly this time, and the whole video looked smoother.

Social Media Project-Youtube
This is a 15-second video to promote my profession. In the early days when I planned the narration and video content, I encountered a lot of difficulties because I found it difficult to convey all the information I wanted to express in just fifteen seconds. But by accelerating the editing rhythm, the video content will become richer, and it will be easier to excite the audience. The overall editing process is very interesting, including trying to use different clips to see their effects.

Social Media Project-Instagram
This video is similar to the one above, but it is 30-seconds long. For this 30-second video, I have more space to express the information I want to convey. But it should be noted that I chose to make this video for Instagram, which means that the ratio of my picture is 1:1. So I also tried different clips from the video above. I tried many times when recording the narration content because I found that if I want the audience to become excited, I need to make my voice sound happy and excited. I also tried adding some video content to speed up the pace of editing. I am quite satisfied with the overall effect.

Audio Edit
This is a promo/trailer about a virtual podcast. I think it’s challenging to select interview clips because you need to select the content that is most likely to interest the audience. And you have to make sure that your narration is attractive enough.

Podcast
This is a podcast about music. I invited my friends as my interview guests. We discussed her 20-year musical journey together. The editing process is very interesting because I used many different background music and effects, including the music produced by the interviewee. I tried to make the overall atmosphere relaxed and pleasant, but my voice still sounded too tense. But I am very satisfied with this work.
